This Minecraft Fan Created a Working In-game GIF

Minecraft can be used to accomplish nearly anything, which is something you'll know when you read our articles on it every day. There's multiplayer Tetris with a working game as well as transforming towns, and even a massive black hole. Well, this fan has created an in-game Minecraft GIF of a cow that, as it turns out is much more complicated than you might think.
Name

Check out the Reddit video below to see just how impressive this Minecraft cow GIF is. The creator of this effect, Dongxipunata, explains everything in the post. It is based on the same principles as Moire slit animations which is a method of animating something using an optical illusion that you can create by overlapping several lines. The lines are used to cover different parts of an image and this combines with specially designed images to create motion. The image isn't moving in real life however your brain believes it does because of the hidden information or what is displayed.

They also explained that changing the resolution, viewing angle, FOV or speed potions can break the effect. You'll then need to search for the perfect location to create an harmonic sample.

It is clear how precise the precision has to be when Dongxipunata is beginning to move forward and then the whole process unravels into what appears like an optical glitch. The whole thing ends up looking like an eerie monster or, perhaps the 3D magic eye painting as they approach the cow, but that doesn't detract from how impressive the effect is.
